About Qigong

Qigong Practice:

The simplest way to put it is that Qigong practices are forms of meditative energy work derived from ancient Chinese philosophies and medicine with deep connections to martial arts.

Qigong practices have many forms ranging from dynamic, gentle excercises to  more static practices, each allowing the practioner opportunities for meditation, physical and mental well-being, and healing.

Qigong  Level 1 and 2 provides fundamental teachings of Qigong practice.  They are taken together as one course and are the prerequisite foundational skills to inform further practice.  Advanced levels, Level 3 and beyond, require completion of the first two levels.

The Limitless Gate website has a wealth of information.  If you wish to know more about this practice of Qigong we suggest you check there for more information.

Nanaimo Tai Chi Association has had the pleasure of  hosting Eva Wong's Taoist Qigong workshops over the past many years.  Reviewing the Limitless Gate website you will see that different Qigong Levels are offered in different years and are offered internationally by Eva Wong or one of her accredited instructors.

Our Nanaimo Qigong workshops have gone to Level 5 in past years.  Our instructors use aspects of their Qigong knowledge in our practice of Tai Chi and Lok Hup.  This year with Level 1 and 2 you have another opportunity to begin the program right here on Vancouver Island.
